Completed a summer internship focused on High Performance Computing using JIIT's supercomputer, Ramanujan Universe. Gained hands-on experience with OpenMP, CUDA, and deep learning on supercomputers. Built parallel programs and completed a project executed on the HPC infrastructure.

This project focuses on generating MRI-like images from CT scans using deep learning techniques. The primary goal is to reduce the need for additional MRI scans by accurately synthesizing MRI images from existing CT data. This can save time, cost, and reduce patient exposure to different imaging procedures. The project leverages convolutional neural networks (CNNs) or generative models like GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) to learn the mapping between CT and MRI images. It can be particularly beneficial in medical diagnostics where MRI access is limited.
